The Metropolitan Transportation Commission has worked with Godbe Research on numerous survey research projects over the years. Most recently, Godbe Research conducted onboard transit passenger surveys on more than 20 Bay Area transit systems for us as part of the evaluation of the 2005 and 2006 Spare the Air/Free Commute campaigns. The survey results helped us to gauge the awareness level of the campaign, and to quantify its impact on encouraging individuals to take transit, instead of driving, on days with anticipated high levels of air pollution.
