In the last nine years Fresno County Library has hired Godbe Research for three separate projects. Two of the studies were pre-elections; Godbe’s research helped us identify our service needs and shape our ordinance and service plans to provide the services needed by residents. In both elections, Godbe predicted the outcome of the election; I have a high degree of confidence in their results! This year I worked with a Citizen’s committee to interview four firms in preparation for a study about a tax for capital development. All members of the committee agreed that Godbe’s background, professional demeanor, and product were Number 1. The survey was complex and Godbe presented results to staff, a citizen’s group, and the Board of Supervisors in a manner that inspired confidence in the results and helped the county set direction.
